Baby Back Ribs
Delicious. Tender. Unforgettable. Low and slow is the key — these ribs fall right off the bone.
Ingredients
- 2 racks baby back ribs
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard (binder)
- Dry Rub:
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp chili powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Sauce (optional):
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
Instructions
- Remove silver skin from back of ribs. Pat dry.
- Brush ribs with mustard.
- Mix dry rub ingredients and coat ribs evenly.
- Wrap in foil and refrigerate at least 2 hours (or overnight).
- Preheat grill to 225°F (or oven to 250°F).
- Cook ribs wrapped in foil for 2.5–3 hours.
- Remove from foil, brush with sauce, and cook uncovered 15–20 minutes until caramelized.
- Let rest 10 minutes before slicing. Enjoy! Tips: Low and slow is the key! Letting them rest keeps them juicy. Try hickory wood for extra smoky flavor.
