Honey Cinnamon Almond Butter
Warm, gently sweet, and perfectly spiced — like a hug in a jar. Perfect on sourdough, swirled into oatmeal, or spooned by the fireplace.
Where honey hums and cinnamon sighs,
comfort finds its way home.
Ingredients
- 3 cups almonds
- 1–2 tbsp neutral oil (sunflower or light olive), optional
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 1–2 tbsp honey
- ½–1 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: a pinch of nutmeg, for deeper warmth
Instructions
- Roast the almonds at 350°F for 10–12 minutes until fragrant.
- Cool slightly — warm nuts blend best.
- Blend patiently in a food processor: crumbs, then paste, then creamy butter (5–10 minutes).
- Adjust the texture with a drizzle of oil if needed.
- Add the honey, cinnamon, and salt. Blend again until silky.
- Store in a jar for up to 3 weeks in the fridge.
Variations: add ½ tsp vanilla for a Honey-Vanilla Hearth Butter, swap the honey for maple syrup, or add 1 tbsp browned butter for deep, toasty richness.
